  5. No littering anywhere in the college
  6. Obey the College uniform policy and procedures
  7. Stay in bounds at all times
  8. No smoking, no possession or use of alcohol or illegal drugs
  9. No electronic devices, including mobile phones, to be operated in school. ( note: Students bringing valuables to school do so at their own risk)
  10. No unauthorised vehicles, including skateboards & scooters, to be brought to school or used on college premises

Implementation
All members of the College will join with teachers to recognise and value positive behaviours and reward them using the following strategies:

  • Positive reinforcement of good behaviours to promote self esteem and shared responsibility for learning.
  • Acknowledging student achievements.
  • Encouraging citizenship.
  • Requiring all participants in the college to support the Whole School Approach to Welfare & Discipline.
  • Encouraging and ensuring awareness of the college and classroom rules.
  • Review and reaffirmation of rules and consequences on a regular basis with staff, parents and students.
A safe and supportive learning environment is a College priority. A hierarchy of consequences has been established to address situations where this is put at risk.

The consequences are school-wide and applied consistently by all staff. Where appropriate, parents will be notified of positive and negative student behaviour. This ensures parents active involvement in the Whole School Approach to Welfare and Discipline
