Welfare

Our College places great importance upon the well-being of all students and our Welfare and Discipline Policy focuses on positive outcomes for all.

We offer a range of programs including Peer Support, Supportive Friends and Health and Well-Being Days.

Pastoral Teachers and Year Level Managers and Sub-school Leaders provide individual and group support and encouragement.

We have a Student Welfare Coordinator available to all students. The College Adolescent Health Nurse and Careers Coordinator are also available for students to access as they need. Assistant Principals have an active role in supporting students and we have access to School Support Services (Psychologists) and a mentoring program (Youth Workers).

National Asthma Week 1-7 September 2009

With 1 in 6 children and 1 in 9 adults having asthma, National Asthma Week provides a great opportunity to raise awareness about this common condition. Educational seminars and other activities will be conducted during National Asthma Week to raise community awareness about the impact asthma can have on people's lives.

This years theme is 'Do you know what to do?'.
