VCAL Certificates
The Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning

The delivery of VCAL is based on adult learning and youth development principles. These principles have been found to be relevant in providing successful programs for students seeking pathways to further vocational education and training and/or employment.

Key features of the VCAL program are:

Who is VCAL For?
Students seeking a vocational pathway on completion of school eg. work, apprenticeships/traineeships, training and further education Students who learn best where learning is practical and "applied"

What Qualifications do students achieve?
VCAL Certificate Certificate II (or III) in VET course of their selection in part time school based apprenticeship/traineeship
There are three VCAL award levels:
